Parks are for everyone!
I'm proud to introduce the Parks for Everyone Act, a long-term vision to help ensure Sheffield Lake's parks become more welcoming, accessible, and inclusive for residents and visitors of all ages and abilities. This ordinance encourages future park improvements to consider accessibility, universal design, and inclusive recreation whenever it is practical and fiscally responsible—not through costly mandates, but through thoughtful planning and continuous improvement over time.
This legislation doesn't require the immediate reconstruction of our parks or create expensive, unfunded mandates. Instead, it establishes a guiding policy so that as playgrounds, trails, beaches, shelters, and recreational facilities are improved in the future, we look for opportunities to make them better for everyone—including seniors, veterans, families with young children, and individuals with disabilities.
Every generation has a responsibility to leave our community a little better than we found it. The Parks for Everyone Act is about building a park system that future generations will be proud to inherit.
I hope you'll join me in supporting the Parks for Everyone Act. Together, we can make Sheffield Lake's parks welcoming to everyone.

The website www.SheffieldLake.community is both a work of irony and a platform of ideas.
It playfully satirizes the hypersensitivities of those who zealously defend Mayor Rocky Radeff’s policies, while earnestly offering real-world proposals for improving life in Sheffield Lake.
This site serves two purposes:
To highlight, through gentle parody, the contradictions and overreactions that too often dominate local discourse, and
To present serious, forward-looking solutions for residents to evaluate and discuss.
While its tone occasionally employs humor and irony, the underlying intent is civic — to inform, challenge, and inspire thoughtful conversation about the future of our city.
